Area – Stephens Passage, AK

Stephens Passage is one of the most heavily trafficked north/south waterways in SE Alaska. Cruise ships, fishing vessels, cargo barges, and pleasure boats use it to access the east side of Admiralty Island and some of the most beautiful scenery in SE Alaska.

While in Stephens Passage, check out the North and South Sawyer tidewater glaciers while dodging icebergs in Tracy Arm Fjord, visit Dawes Glacier and the magnificent Ford’s Terror on Endicott Arm , watch bears fishing for salmon up close and personal at Pack Creek Bear Viewing Area, and explore cannery ruins at Taku Harbor.
