Airship | Hood Canal

We’ve cruised Hood Canal in Airship before, and although it’s a long body of water with not many of what we’d call “destination anchorages”, there’s still quite a bit to see and do, especially when the weather is nice. We left Pleasant Harbor on Friday morning and cruised the 21nm or so down to the “Great Bend” and found space on the dock at the Hood Canal Marina (same ownership … Read more

Airship | Cruising Puget Sound and Hood Canal

The Slowboat team had a very successful Seattle Boat Show this year. All of our seminars were well-attended and we got to connect with new and old friends. Plus: boats!!! Airship left Seattle on Monday and headed over to Blake Island for some hiking and relaxing. It was nice to be back at Blake Island, but I think I like it better in the snow! Airship | Last Week in Puget Sound

Next up was a short stay with friends … Read more

Airship | Blake Island State Marine Park

We’re on Blake Island! We cruised over from Seattle yesterday morning, met up with a few other brave winter boaters, had a great evening last night with happy hour and dinner together on Safe Harbour, and woke up this morning to a gorgeous snowy landscape! We hiked around the whole island this morning after breakfast. So pretty!! Read the full post (with many more photos) here on Riveted.
