Last night at Wood Spit, just as we were going to bed, a humpback cruised past us, spouting and lunge feeding as it made its way around the spit. Our cruise today from Taku Harbor down Stephens Passage to Tracy Arm Cove was bumpy. Occasionally 3-4ft chop, with wind gusting to 24kts, but on the nose so not too bad, but not super comfortable. Friday: We entered Ford’s Terror about 25 minutes after Juneau high tide with about 3kts of current still flooding, pushing us in a little faster through as we dodged small icebergs that had entered with the flood.
