Our cruise today from Taku Harbor down Stephens Passage to Tracy Arm Cove was bumpy. Occasionally 3-4ft chop, with wind gusting to 24kts, but on the nose so not too bad, but not super comfortable. And it was raining hard most of the time, so not a lot of photos from today.

As we neared Tracy Arm, we spotted our first iceberg, and it was a cool shape! From some angles it looked like an orca! (It was so bumpy though that I think I took 12 photos to get these two usable ones.)

We all anchored in Tracy Arm Cove, but didn’t go out dinghying around to play with icebergs because it was pouring and also there weren’t really any icebergs near us. Here’s a not-so-great shot of a red-throated loon in the rain.

In the morning we’ll head up Tracy Arm to see how far we can get and try to see some glaciers! AND we may have a little break in the weather, which would be very welcome!
