The weather is very much not cooperating with our original plan for this week, so we’re making changes on the fly. Today, we were up early for a short 16nm cruise from Kanish Bay to Shoal Bay, at the top of East Thurlow Island. Shoal Bay is a great stop, with expansive views up Phillips Arm when it’s clear, and the charming Shoal Bay Cottage grounds to explore on shore.

Just one other boat here when we arrived, so we all have dock space…making things a bit easier for our taco dinner tonight!

Several people took the hike up to the gold mine this afternoon, enjoying the sun and chance to get some exercise. We all met on Airship for a taco dinner tonight…super fun group of people and a delicious dinner, but I neglected to take any group photos (it happens). Next time!
